HUH?

Okay so this blog will just be an overall update of my past few days from our journey across the states...right now were in Cali at this little motel till we can move our stuff in tomorrow to the dorms so internet here is not very good. But we have arrived to our final destination in the budget! No more long road trips that require driving woooooo! I am already sun burned/fried from the beach today but it was nice to just have a relaxing day at the beach...so relaxing that all of us fell asleep on the beach for at least an hour, after playing a few games of juggling/pancaking...on top of that Louis was pooped on by a seagul and Drew showed us some cool local spots by the beach. The public beach we went to was awesome there was a roller coaster and lots of little shops and restaurants. Now we are all jsut hanging at the hotel getting ready to go to a farmers market and explore for tonight!
Enjoy the pictures and videos if they work! :)

The farmers market was one of the coolest places I have been to. There were so many different booths set up, all with amazing food or neat little jewelry or clothing tents.  After smelling all the food and weighing out our options we decide on fish tacos at one of these tents. We ate our fish tacos and watched the sunset on the beach, during all this we managed to see a million dogs (because apparently that is the pet to have these days ;) everyone has at least one) and there was a couple walking around with a dog that was a clone of Jack so of course I walked up and said hello! We also were offered surfing lesson by some "dude" but have yet to follow up with him about those. That night we all just hung out back at our hotel. The next day we wake up and eat breakfast at this amazing little burrito shop and head over to UC San Diego where we will be staying for the remainder of the week. We settle into our apt/dorms (they are massive) and drive around looking for the beach...we find one but after our long trek down the mountain to get to the beach we realize it was Black's Beach which was a nude beach...YIKES...I think we were all shocked to say the least. That night we showered and headed for round 2 of In N Out Burger.
On Friday we were all able to sleep in which was a nice change. Doody and I attempted at runnign a trail but lasted maybe 20 minutes came back and we all headed to Hartzel and Ruthies house about an hour away in Mission Viejo...
This couple is the most amazing people you will ever meet, they are so welcoming to everyone and anyone and Ruthie is hands down the best cook I have ever met in my life. They are basically my "grandparents" just not related. When we lived in California we saw them at least once a week and my parents have been friends with them since before they even were married. Ruthie and Hartzel have been married for 66 years and are 85 and 86 years old but you would never be able to guess that. They are incredible people and it was so nice to have a homecooked meal (not to mention her to die for bbq chicken and brownies) clean laundry and leftover for at least 2 weeks. After we said our goodbyes we had to make an airport run to pick up Mecchi. After 4 near death experiences because of Louis' road rage we make it back to the campus with a fun night ahead of us. TGIF

On top of all this my dear friends, cough cough, Lisa and Bobby, have decided to try and one up my blog with their own blog...thanks guys! So hopefully my annoying font and really bad grammar does not scare off all my MILLIONS of followers to follow these hooligans blog :) sounds to me like they are a little bit Jealous of my adventures hahahaha

PEACE AND BLESSINGS from Kelly Shaffer (30 min meals on the lavender recliner from 1950s)
